You know you can always use More Power!

MCAS F-35 Hangar Construction At Miramar - Dynaelectric and MPPUS making it happen.

Ground has finally been broken on the new hangar and apron expansion project at MCAS Miramar. More Power is extremely proud to be a part of this project and honored to be able to support our military with our own expertise and hard work.

This groundbreaking begins the construction of the first two of nine military construction projects to support the arrival of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter to MCAS Miramar in 2020. More Power will provide logistics and the under ground sub structure package for the new hangar's utility management and it's supporting facilities. We're working closely with our friends at Dynaelectric on this project and when it's all done, it will be the home of one of the most advanced weapons on the face of the earth. Check out the video created by HACI Productions below to see the F-35 in action.

This project will enable the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing to execute their mission with a highly advanced aircraft, which will replace the F/A-18 Hornet at MCAS Miramar. The Marine Corps will eventually transition its entire tactical air fleet to F-35, to include three legacy platforms: the AV-8B Harrier, the F/A-18 Hornet, and the EA-6B Prowler. We can't wait to see this awesome machine in its new home at Miramar.

The F-35 represents a quantum leap in air dominance capability. It combines next-generation fighter agility and advanced logistical support and radar-evading stealth, supersonic speed, with the most powerful and comprehensive integrated sensor package of any fighter aircraft in history to provide unprecedented lethality and survivability. It's as agile as a F-18 Super Hornet and as stealth an F-117 Fighter (both pictured above). It's basically the most badass fighter jet in existence and we're happy to know that it's part of the U.S. Military arsenal. (credit-source: http://www.miramar.marines.mil/)
